Charlie Walker, 4, from South Tyneside, who suffers from multiple allergies, has been saved from needing hospital treatment by a futuristic looking suit - which his parents imported from America. Charlie lived in agony because of severe reactions to dust, sand and perfumed products, until his mum Cheryl and dad Chris came across the suit which eases Charlie's skin rashes and prevents him from scratching.

Guides' Victory In Secular Oath Row

A girl guide group who rallied against a decision to BAN them from the association for refusing to drop God from their oath have won their fight. The group were told they would be EXPELLED if they did not comply and start using a new oath which does not mention religion.

Puppy 'Arrested' ..

Little Milo, a white Maltese Terrier had been living with the Donkin family at their home in Hexham, Northumberland for three weeks, before trading standards officers took her into quarantine when it was discovered she was one of 10 puppies illegally imported from the Netherlands. Milo's illegal status was uncovered during a routine check-up, when the vet found - unbenownst to the Donkin family - that Milo's passport was fake. Pictured with owner Eleanor Donkin ..

Geordie Shore Star Spared Jail ..

Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison walked free from court after a leaving two women injured in a stiletto shoe attack. The 26-year-old lashed out after ice, which was thrown at her by a reveller, hit her in the face at the House of Smith club in Newcastle, where she and fellow cast members were recording the MTV series last July.
