Brave Kacey Day has had her long golden locks completely shaved off to raise money and support her best friend who has lost her hair to cancer.
Eight-year-old Kacey had seen singer Jessie J shave her head live on TV for Children In Need in 2013 and told her parents that she wanted to do the same for charity.
Then in February this year the youngster found out that her classmate and best friend Rebecca Hudson had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and was going to lose her hair.
Kacey, from Stockton, Cleveland, was adamant that she was going to say goodbye to her long blonde tresses in support of Rebecca.
Leading up to the big cut she has raised over £1000 for The Little Princess Trust, a charity which provides real-hair wigs for children like Rebecca.
