In a word, the internet. Before the advent of the internet the core skills of our company were largely of service to the traditional publishers of news, primarily the national newspapers and magazines.
It was an influential audience for our skills but a relatively small one. We supplied newspapers - national, foreign and regional - womens magazines, radio and TV with pictures and news from throughout our region - the North East of England, Cumbria and the Borders.
However, the internet and related technology - such as mobile phones - means the photographic and journalistic skills of our company are now in wider demand as news has become far more accessible.
Without in any way abandoning our core market we can now supply news and picture feeds to a broader span of clients, where our expertise can offer a great service at a great rate.
